

John became a Lion in 1995 when he joined as a Charter Member of the Warlingham and Standerstead Club. After relocating to the south coast in 2001 he soon became member of Arundel and District Lions Club. Today he lives in Clymping, West Sussex.
John joined the board of Trustees in 2005 and is dedicated to raising funds for LIBRA. He encourages supporters to take part in fundraising activities and welcomes new opportunities to raise awareness about the appeal.
With a keen interest in health issues, he believes that funds are desperately needed to help the research programmes of exciting innovation and change, particularly that of cell therapy. Commenting on the work carried out at King’s he said: “Continuing haematological research will lead to a better quality of life for many people across the world.”
